Frequently Asked Questions

I created an event but my friend didn't get a notification.

Please check the following:

  1. Has your friend installed and signed up for Timingle? (You can invite friends without an account via SMS or KakaoTalk link.)
  2. Is the device notification permission enabled on their phone?
  3. Is the event in CONFIRMED status, not PROPOSED? Some notifications are muted at the proposal stage.
  4. If everything looks fine, email us with the event ID.
I want a refund for my paid subscription.

The refund channel depends on where you paid:

  • Web (Stripe): If you're within 7 days of payment, email us to request a refund. We process within 3–5 business days.
  • App Store: Subject to Apple's policy. Please request directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Google Play: Through Google Play Help Center, or in the Play Store app: Menu → Payments & subscriptions.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. All personal data and content is purged immediately and cannot be recovered (except payment records, which are retained for 5 years under Korean e-commerce law).

If you can't access the app, email us from your sign-up address at timingle0101@gmail.com with a deletion request. We'll verify and process it.

I'd like to download a copy of my data.

We honor your right of access and portability under Article 35 of the Personal Information Protection Act. Email us from your sign-up address at timingle0101@gmail.com requesting a data copy. We respond with a JSON archive within 10 business days.

The archive includes: profile, friend graph, events, chat messages, and payment history.

How do I report spam, abuse, or inappropriate content?

Long-press the message, event, or user in the app and tap Report. We review within 24 hours and take action if warranted.

For urgent reports, email us directly: timingle0101@gmail.com.

Google Calendar sync isn't working.

Try the following:

  1. Confirm Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar shows Connected.
  2. Verify Timingle still has permission in your Google account: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  3. If a token expired, try Disconnect → Reconnect.

If it still fails, email us with the time of the issue and your sign-up address.

I forgot my password.

Timingle uses Google sign-in only for the initial release — there is no separate password. Sign in with your usual Google account.

If you've lost your Google password, use Google Account Recovery.

The app feels slow or crashes often.
  1. Make sure you're on the latest version (App Store / Play Store).
  2. Reboot your device.
  3. Check available storage (1GB+ recommended).
  4. If it persists, send diagnostics via Settings → Send Diagnostic Logs.
How do referral rewards work?

Go to Settings → Refer a Friend, copy your code, and share it. When a friend signs up using your code, you receive 1 free month of PRO Plus (capped at 12 months total).

Are there team or enterprise plans?

The initial release supports individual accounts only. Team and enterprise licensing is on the roadmap. If you're interested, email timingle0101@gmail.com and we'll add you to the priority waitlist.
