Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Timingle mobile application and related web services (the "Service"), provided by CNHOLIC ("we", "us", or "the Company"), and form a binding legal agreement between you and us.
Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the Service, the rights, duties, and responsibilities of you and us, and other necessary matters.
Article 2 — Definitions
- "Service" means the event-centric communication platform and related features provided by us under the Timingle brand.
- "Member" means any individual who agrees to these Terms and registers an account.
- "Content" means any text, image, file, message, or other information posted by a Member on the Service.
- "Event" means a meeting unit defined by date, time, location, and attendees, which is the core unit of the Service.
- "Chat" means real-time messaging between attendees of a specific Event.
- "Paid Service" means subscription-based features such as PRO and PRO Plus.
Article 3 — Effect and Modification of Terms
1. These Terms become effective the moment a Member completes registration after agreeing to them.
2. We may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable Korean law (including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).
3. We will give notice of any change at least 7 days before its effective date (or 30 days for changes adverse to Members) through in-app notice or email. If a Member does not object before the effective date, the Member is deemed to have accepted the change.
Article 4 — Registration and Withdrawal
1. Registration occurs when a user agrees to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, submits the required information, and we accept the registration.
2. We may refuse or terminate registration in cases such as the following:
- Use of another person's identity
- Provision of false or incomplete information
- Children under 14 registering without parental consent
- Other violations of these Terms or applicable laws
3. Members may withdraw at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. We will purge all personal information immediately, except as required by law.
Article 5 — Provision and Modification of the Service
1. We provide the following:
- Event creation, modification, deletion, and history tracking
- Per-event real-time chat
- Friend graph, push and email notifications
- Two-way Google Calendar sync (with consent)
- Paid subscription tiers (PRO, PRO Plus)
- Other features we may develop or partner to provide
2. We may change the contents, methods, and times of the Service. We will give notice 7 days in advance (or 30 days for changes adverse to Members).
Article 6 — Service Hours
1. The Service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in principle.
2. We may suspend the Service for system maintenance, upgrades, power outages, force majeure, etc. We will give advance notice when feasible, and after-the-fact notice otherwise.
Article 7 — Member Obligations
Members must not:
- Provide false information at registration or in subsequent updates
- Impersonate or misappropriate the identity of others
- Alter information posted by us
- Transmit or post unauthorized programs or files
- Infringe intellectual property rights of us or third parties
- Defame us or third parties, or interfere with our operations
- Post obscene, violent, or otherwise objectionable content
- Send spam or unsolicited advertising
- Maliciously create or cancel Events to harm other Members
- Violate any applicable law
Article 8 — Our Obligations
1. We will not engage in conduct prohibited by law or these Terms, and we will use best efforts to provide a stable Service.
2. We will protect personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and our Privacy Policy.
3. We will respond promptly to legitimate complaints, and inform the Member of the reason and timeline if immediate resolution is not possible.
Article 9 — Rights to Content
1. Copyright and other rights to Content posted by a Member belong to that Member.
2. By posting Content, the Member grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use the Content for the purpose of operating, displaying, transmitting, distributing, and promoting the Service. The license is limited to the scope necessary for these purposes.
3. We may take measures (including temporary restrictions) under the Copyright Act, the Information and Communications Network Act, and other applicable laws if Content is found to violate them.
Article 10 — Content Management
1. Where Content infringes on the rights of others, the rights holder may request that we restrict or remove the Content under applicable laws, and we will act accordingly.
2. Even without a request, we may take temporary action against Content that appears to infringe rights or violate our policies.
Article 11 — Billing and Refunds
1. We offer paid subscription tiers (PRO, PRO Plus). Payments are processed through Stripe (web) or Apple App Store / Google Play (mobile).
2. Refund policy:
- Web (Stripe): Under Article 17 of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, you may withdraw your purchase within 7 days of payment. Refunds may be limited for portions already consumed (e.g., used storage quota).
- App Store: Subject to Apple's refund policy. Please contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: Subject to Google Play's refund policy. Please contact Google Play support.
3. Subscriptions automatically renew on the renewal date. You may cancel at any time up to 24 hours before renewal.
4. For free trials that auto-convert to paid plans, we will notify you by email or push 24 hours before the charge.
Article 12 — Termination
1. Members may terminate the contract at any time by deleting their account.
2. We may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice in cases such as:
- Violation of these Terms or applicable laws
- Severe infringement on the rights of us or other Members
- Disruption of the normal operation of the Service
Article 13 — Liability for Damages
1. A party that breaches these Terms shall compensate the other party for resulting damages.
2. We do not compensate for any damages arising from the use of free features, except where caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 14 — Limitation of Liability
1. We are not liable for failures to provide the Service caused by force majeure, war, ISP outages, power failures, or scheduled maintenance.
2. We are not liable for service disruptions caused by a Member's fault (lost device, weak password management, etc.).
3. We are not responsible for the substance of Content posted by Members, nor for disputes between Members or between Members and third parties arising through use of the Service.
4. The actual execution of Events, no-show damages, and other interpersonal disputes are the responsibility of the Members. We provide objective indicators (such as trust scores) but do not directly intervene in such disputes.
Article 15 — Disputes and Governing Law
1. We will first attempt to resolve disputes related to these Terms through good-faith negotiation.
2. If a dispute is not resolved through negotiation, it shall be brought before the court of jurisdiction set by the Civil Procedure Act, with Suwon District Court as the court of first instance.
3. The laws of the Republic of Korea govern these Terms.
Article 16 — Supplementary Provisions
These Terms take effect on May 9, 2026.
